We are now in November which can only mean one thing; deadlines become a looming reality resulting in increased procrastination on YouTube. Those cat videos aren’t going to watch themselves! But in other, and far more interesting news, November is also the month that The Foundation Centre hold their annual Celebration Evening and Alumni Reunion.
It’s an opportunity for those who have completed their Foundation Centre programmes last academic year (2012-2013) to be awarded with certificates to celebrate their achievement. It’s also a great chance for previous alumni to attend and catch up with staff members/other alumni. There will also be free nibbles/drinks! If you don’t go to celebrate your achievements, then go to celebrate free wine and cake.
The events are being held at Durham City and Queens campus.
Queens: Wednesday 27th November, Room D010, Ebsworth Building, Queen’s Campus. The evening will commence with a drinks reception at 6.00pm.
Durham City: Friday 29th November in the Joachim Room. This event will be a celebration lunch commencing at 1pm.
Hope to see you there!
